Virtiply — Terms & Conditions 2026

1. Eligibility

• Only members who have been invited to participate may apply for membership of the Association.
• Persons over the age of 18 who have applied for membership and who have paid the prescribed membership fee, with exception of the Basic Membership level, are eligible.
• The Company retains the right to investigate and verify that eligibility requirements have been met and may refuse an application or terminate membership at its sole discretion.

2. Effective Date & Membership Period

The "Effective Date" is the date on which the Company approved and accepted a person's application for membership. Membership subscriptions are based on full calendar months and paid in advance.

If a member joins and pays before the 16th of a month, Membership and the waiting period is activated on the first day of that same month. Benefits will be available from the 1st day of the following month.

In the event where a membership fee was not paid, the Company reserves the right to change the inception or start date, request a double deduction, or suspend Membership until fees are paid up to date.

The membership period shall terminate on the earliest of the following dates: the last day of the month for which the last prescribed membership fee was received; the date on which a member's membership is terminated for cause by the Company; or the date of cancellation by written notice.

3. Limits of Liability

• Any claim for any pre-paid and/or discount benefits, services, benefits or rewards that is not submitted within 90 days after the benefit became due, shall be denied.
• Membership fees received will be regarded as a membership contribution for a full calendar month.
• Where any benefits or any type of airtime or data was given to a member, the member will be liable for the full amount and no refunds for a specific month will be given.

4. Exclusions

Any exclusions imposed by third-party service providers, as per the specific rule and terms of each benefit as specified in the Service Supplier's documentation.

In any event where fraud or misrepresentation was involved by the member or any dependents, no benefits shall be provided.

5. Communication

The Company's communication method of choice includes all accepted electronic communication which includes, but is not limited to SMS, MMS, USSD and email. By applying for the Membership, the member authorises the Company to communicate with the member in any acceptable way regarding other benefits and offers.

All communication, personal data and information will be kept confidential.

6. POPIA & Privacy

As Association and Company, we support the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Act 4 of 2013. Your privacy is of utmost importance. We will take the necessary measures to ensure that all information provided is processed in accordance with the provisions of POPIA and is stored in a safe and secure manner.

You accept that your Personal Information collected may be used to establish and verify your identity in terms of the Applicable Laws, and to use general non-personal information in negotiations for better benefits and for research purposes.

Unless consent is given, your personal information (such as your name, address, email address, telephone or fax number) will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, rented or otherwise made available to any other party.

7. Important Notice

This Association Membership falls under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), as a non-insurance non-profit Association. Participation within the Association constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of applicable platform rules, compliance procedures, operational frameworks, and participation terms.

Members are encouraged to review all applicable documentation, disclosures, and operational information carefully before participating.
